This doesn’t surprise me, not in the slightest. You upload video proof of a doorway to another dimension on Youtube and it gets swallowed up by the algorithm.
I uploaded the video I sent to my girlfriend and waited a day. Sure enough, no views. I deleted a spam comment to some online dating that stuffed up the URL to their own website.
I expected this. I had a list of editors for high volume click-baity style websites I could contact. I hoped it would only take one, get the word out on a larger platform and everyone would flood to my Youtube channel.
People wouldn’t believe me. I’d take whatever requests were reasonable to prove otherwise, do Q&As when I knew what I was doing, and just become the content creator with a magic portal out their front door.
It’s a niche, you can say that much. My biggest problem is like anyone else trying to get big on the internet; getting those initial impressions to start with. You needed some type of following in real life to translate it over to the internet, especially these days.
Algorithms have ruined everything, only serving you up more of the same. You need to engage people elsewhere to get them to change their behaviour and actually do what you want them to.
That was fine back in the day when you could go outside, but how am I supposed to reach anyone when I’m stuck inside for the foreseeable future? That’s why I put together this list and didn’t expect video proof of unexplained phenomena to do shit on Youtube.
No use in complaining, I broke out my Google Doc with names and emails and started plugging details into templates:

I wanted to share this video I took with you. I’m currently under lockdown for the foreseeable future and the weirdest thing happened.
